May 13-18 2011 wa my 1st ever trip to Phoenix Arizona. I wanted to attend another BRT grooming seminar with olga Kornienko , and of course see our good friends in Arizona , who arrnged spectacular sight seeing for us. We spend a few wonderful days together. It was such was a blast, that must shre it with you all.

We arrived at Marilyn's house....and OMG, there is a huge Cactus in a from yard. I just had to take a picture.

I love palm trees, so I took a few pictures of them. The weather was beautiful: gorgeous blue sky, sun shine and hot in a day time and nice and cool mornings and evenings.

Marilyn has a huge grapefruit tree in a yard, that provided us with fresh juice every morning. When we had free time , we enjoyed swimming in a lovely pool.

I can not thank Marilyn and Herb enough for their hospitality and Chris, Bonnie and marilyn for event packed schedule of sheer fun!!!

The day after we arrived, 5 of us went on a boat ride in a Canyon lake. It was gorgeous, and most relaxing day. We admired the scenery, shared a few laughs and beers and went for a lunch in Tortilla Flats.

Lunch was great.
Very rustic location, with saddles instead bar stools, wood carved figures, antique display, gift shop, and last, but not the least - a funky washroom .....Once again I had to take pictures!

The BRT Grooming Seminar with Olga was very infomative, I have learned a lot more and refreshed thigs I managed to forget...The location was great. The seminar was held in Applewood Pet Resort . The facility is huge and elegant. Lots of room. Chris M. and Bonnie organized a delicious lunch. I was very nice to meet new people, new young BRTS.

Sedona! WOW!

There is no words to describe a breathtaking beauty and tranquility of the place! The mountains are everywhere, various shapes, red rocks, houses , carefully landskaped to fit the surroundings in architecture and colour.

It is the most gorgeous God's creation ever!

You just have to go to Sedone and see for yourselves!

We stopped at the chapel at the top of the mountain in Sedona. When you sit in a pew, the sanctuary is in front of you and beyond it, behind huge glass window lays a most spectacular vast view of red rock of Sedona. The presence of our Creator is so evident and gentle in this place , that you wish you could stay in the chapel forever, worshiping His goodness and basking in his Grace.

Grand Canoyn.
One of the Wonders of the World,

We did some shopping, had last chance to admire different architecture, huge cacti and palm trees.

Then it was time to go home. I sincerely thank marilyn, herb, Chris and Bonnie for their hospitality, friendship and wonderful precious time together. it was so nice to have a few days to have a real vacation, not to worry about competing with the dogs, just have fun and enjoy each other company. It was very nice to see Tina , Deb and Ken , Lee and meet everyone at the grooming seminar.

Thank you again
